Loveblues are a small scale Lancashire based Russian Blue hobby breeder. All of our cats and kittens are GCCF registered pedigree cats and live inside the home with us and are very much part of our family.We dedicate our time to them, and some may say we are a little obsessed! We are members of the Russian Blue Breeders Association and RACCS.
Madison Zac is our beautiful Champion boy and our girls are Mika, Marishka and Oriana, who are all loving companions.
We on the other hand are mere slaves, catering for their every need.
It is believed that Russian Blues were shipped from the port of Archangel in Russia to England from around 1860, they are also still referred to by many as Archangel cats, they are quiet, sensitive, gentle, loyal, intelligent cats with distinctive features. They have a short, double, blue velvet coat with a stunning silvery sheen and almond shaped eyes which are a lovely vivid green.
Russian Blues are slender, healthy and loving cats. As a breed they are supposedly shy however some do break the mould, as many people have found out! This is because like us humans cats are individuals and genetics as well as environment shapes the personality of a kitten.
Here at Loveblues cat welfare is our main priority, and we are utterly dedicated to our cats. This means that we spend a lot of time with our cats and kittens. They really are our babies and we try to find the correct environment for our offspring, ensuring not only our their happiness, but providing the best possible start to their new owners so that their kittens become lifelong loyal and loving companions for you and your family.
